The words of Christ

In 2 Nephi 31, Nephi explains what we should do to enter through the gate to the "strait and narrow path". He also explains that entering through the gate is not enough and tells us what we should do afterwards. In 2 Nephi 32, he elaborates on that and refers back to two details from 2 Nephi 31. In 2 Nephi 32:1-3:
And now, behold, my beloved brethren, I suppose that ye ponder somewhat in your hearts concerning that which ye should do after ye have entered in by the way. But, behold, why do ye ponder these things in your hearts?
Do ye not remember that I said unto you that after ye had received the Holy Ghost ye could speak with the tongue of angels [referring to 31:13]? And now, how could ye speak with the tongue of angels save it were by the Holy Ghost?
Angels speak by the power of the Holy Ghost; wherefore, they speak the words of Christ. Wherefore, I said unto you, feast upon the words of Christ [referring to 31:20]; for behold, the words of Christ will tell you all things what ye should do.
Notice how Nephi takes two subtle and different details from his sermon in chapter 31 and ties them together here. Notice also how Nephi's logic is consistent with the "Office of the ministry of Angels" series that Lord Wilmore has posted. Here we also see that angels speak the word of Christ. In the quoted verses, Nephi explains why: It is because they speak by the power of the Holy Ghost. When we receive the Holy Ghost we can do the same. We can be an angel too! We are speaking of angels in broad terms here, but that is perfectly consistent with ancient Israelite thought, where the word for angel also means "messenger".

Consider how Nephi has become an angel in the next chapter.
And now, my beloved brethren, and also Jew, and all ye ends of the earth, hearken unto these words and believe in Christ; and if ye believe not in these words believe in Christ. And if ye shall believe in Christ ye will believe in these words, for they are the words of Christ, and he hath given them unto me; and they teach all men that they should do good. (2 Nephi 33:10)
I am not sure if Nephi received the Gift of the Holy Ghost the same way we do today. But according to Nephi's logic, he must have received the Holy Ghost somehow to be able to speak the words of Christ. Remember what Nephi said in 1 Nephi chapter 10?
Verse 17:
And it came to pass after I, Nephi, having heard all the words of my father, concerning the things which he saw in a vision, and also the things which he spake by the power of the Holy Ghost, which power he received by faith on the Son of God—and the Son of God was the Messiah who should come—I, Nephi, was desirous also that I might see, and hear, and know of these things, by the power of the Holy Ghost, which is the gift of God unto all those who diligently seek him
and verse 22:
And the Holy Ghost giveth authority that I should speak these things, and deny them not.
