Samuel the Lamanite channels Nephi (and Isaiah)
I've found numerous examples of Samuel the Lamanite making reference to themes and phrases from Nephi (and Isaiah). I started a list. I'm sure there are many, many more to find. Notice the similarities between how Samuel describes false teachers and how Nephi described them:
